Roberto Roena is one of the most renowned salsa creators in Puerto Rico and around the world. He is famous for his participation in the Combo of Cortijo, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Fania, Puerto Rico All Stars and Legendary Apollo Sound.

He returns to the Lehman Center to celebrate more than 55 years of splendor, rhythm, and flavor of his musical talent! Special guests and Original Singers will include Sammy González, Tito Cruz and Carlos Santos, the voices behind great hits like Tu Loco, Loco, (his first hit), Mi Desengaño, Lamento de Concepción, Cui Cui, Avísale a Mi Contrario, Marejada Feliz, Peldaño, “Regaño al Corazón, and Progreso, and the legendary Master Timbalero Endel Dueño.

Mi Dia Bonito – Historic Reunion of Salsa Legends! Opening Act Tribute to Charlie Palmieri by the Uprising All-Stars featuring Herman Olivera under the direction of Jimmy Bosch.

Eddie Palmieri and Lalo Rodriguez reunite at Lehman Center after forty years!

Their first collaboration began when at the age of 16, Lalo Rodrigez made his debut as a professional singer, recording the album with Eddie Palmieri entitled “The Sun of Latin Music”. This album was the first to win an American Grammy Award. In 1975, he recorded the second album titled “Unfinished Masterpiece”, which won the second Grammy– making a milestone in the history of salsa.

This concert celebrates one of the most successful partnerships in the history of classic salsa from New York and around the globe!
